About ACOP

Saskatchewan has a thriving community of Aboriginal athletes who compete across the country and around the globe. These athletes are an inspiration to all young people to get involved in sport. At every level of participation, opportunities would not be possible without volunteer coaches and officials.

The Aboriginal Coaches and Officials Program is organizing training and developmental opportunities across the province for Aboriginal peoples to become involved in sport as a coach or an official.

The program consists of: Introduction to Coaching Workshop, Aboriginal Coaching Modules, Introduction to Competition: Part A, NCCP Sport Specific Clinics and the Officials Clinics.

Becoming a coach or an official is a rewarding experience and helps young people grow not only as athletes, but as tomorrow's leaders.
