Coaches Week in Saskatchewan

May 22 - 29, 2011

The following activities are scheduled to take place to celebrate 2011 Coaches Week in the province:

Official Coaches Week proclamation photo in the Saskatoon, Regina, Moose Jaw and Prince Albert daily papers on Saturday, May 21st;
Coaches Week media release sent to all Saskatchewan media May 16th;
“Best Local Coach Story Contest” with the Saskatchewan Weekly Newspaper Association members;
Free NCCP multi-sport workshops being offered to coaches in various Districts throughout the province;
Radio PSA’s aired during Coaches Week around the province;
Profile of a local coach in the Sports Section of Saskatchewan’s daily newspapers during Coaches Week;
Coach PD Workshop – “Coaching Staff – Working Together as a Team” in conjunction with the CAS Annual Meeting on May 28th;
A number of tools have been developed to help the sport community recognize their coaches and promote Coaches Week in the province. (listed below)
