Petro-Canada Sport Leadership sportif is an annual conference organized by the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) that fosters the development of Canada as a leading sport nation and reinforces CAC’s role in achieving that goal.

Welcome to Sarah Junkin an Athletics coach from Saskatoon who was elected to the CAS Board as the new PSGB rep. Thank you to Jason Grieve for his commitment and hard work over the past two years fulfilling the PSGB rep position. Garry Armstrong of Saskatoon has returned as Board Chair for the second year.

A joint initiative of the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) and the University of Alberta Press, is an extensive and frank exploration by leaders in women’s coaching of the values women bring to the coaching profession.

Most athletes are aware that to physically perform at their best they should consume wholesome foods. However, with these dietary goals in mind athletes may be confused as to which foods are ideal to meet their sport nutrition needs – especially when it comes to choosing between organic and non-organically grown foods.

Chevrolet Making Dreams Possible – Club Coaching Grants
One hundred grants of $2,000 each will be awarded each year to allow sport clubs/local sport associations to host coach training and education activities in support of community sport programs. Deadline is September 27, 2010.
